Smaller thread.
Jul. 2nd, 2007 10:33 pmSo, I made some earrings with size 50 Cordonnet. Working with smaller thread is much easier than I thought it would be.

Sorry for the fuzzy picture. Anyway, I washed them, let them dry, then painted them with some clear nail polish. They keep their forms pretty nicely. Next time I think I'll put some beads on the outer picots and shorten the crochet chain that attaches the heart to the hook.
I got kind of excited about using smaller thread and decided to challenge myself with some sewing thread.

It was hard to see any of the stitches, but that didn't really matter. I just kind of did it by feel. It was hard getting the teeny rings to close all the way, though.
