Figured I'd do an obligatory "here I am" post. I used to be pretty active on some of the online tatting lists, but have sort of slacked off on that lately. Been spending much more time knitting than tatting of late, but I hope to get back to having time to do both before long. I have a few patterns I wrote (including the heart in my user icon there) available on-line here. And a few more I've written up but haven't managed to type out yet. Gotta get those done.

I know what you mean with the whole knitting instead thing...I got kind of tired of tatting after Christmas and I got some crochet hooks for Christmas...so I went off and made myself a hat. Now I'm working on the matching scarf, AND knitting my boyfriend a scarf at the same time. Heh.

Designing isn't as hard as people think, really. I should take pictures of all of my attempts leading up to a "finished" design so people can see the process. It's basically just wanting to play with familiar elements, and being willing to cut out parts that just don't work...

Are you the Gina B who was in butterfly robin 1? There are two tatting Gina Bs I know (one in IN, one in OK).
