Exciting parcels

Today in the post there were two packages for me, my Ring of Tatters newsletter, and

I'd ordered them from http://www.ds9designs.com/ and was really pleased they arrived so fast. There are two because one is for my belle mere who is also a keen tatter. I also ordered some of the valdani threads that you can see in this photo.

I am longing to try them out. They are a little thicker than the DMC thread that is my favourite...maybe about a 40? Still the colours are just dreamy, and I'll post a motif in each later to give you an idea.

I have a tatting bag from DS9 and I just love it! The blue shuttle print that you chose is lovely. I'm looking forward to seeing the motifs you tat with that thread - it's beautiful!

Right, I'll just be over turning green with envy. I really need to order one of those bags someday.....
