Here are three more bookmarks I've made, all in size 10 thread (I've got a bunch of smaller thread on order).

The red one is needle tatted, with the same pattern as this one except with seven repeats instead of nine. I wanted to see just how much looser needle tatting is, and the difference seems pretty significant to me. I tried using a size 5 needle instead of a size 7 (which is standard for size 10 thread), but I found it really difficult to pull the thread through the stitches so I went back to the size 7.

This blue one is my first two-shuttle pattern, the clover bookmark.

This is Jessica, with one extra repeat than the pattern lists.

I made that clover one for a teacher's bookmark back in May. It was my favorite of the six that I needed to make for the end-of-year gifts (only five of the six are in these pictures (http://navygreen.livejournal.com/833663.html#cutid1), including that one). But I didn't realize it was a two-shuttle pattern - I only did it with one.

Yours are very pretty. I want to remake that one with a nice, solid thread - sometimes that helps to really emphasize the detail in the pattern. :-)
