Tutorial for Beginners?

Hi there! I found this community doing an interest search for sewing. I inherited a tatting shuttle and loads of thread from my grandmother, but I haven't a clue how to use it. I do sew a lot and would love to make my own lace for projects.

Does anyone have any recommendation for a good beginner tutorial on tatting? Thanks!

I actually did manage to find a reasonably priced class in my area--you might look around to see if there's one in yours by checking craft shops. My class was so small it ended up being a one-on-one tutorial, too, so that was pretty sweet--and a lot easier to ask questions from a person.

That's a great idea, I may look into that. My grandmother has tried to teach me before, but she's not patient and has a hard time explaining the steps she is going through to make her lace.
