I just joined this group - here's my obligatory "Hi, I'm here" post! I haven't been tatting for long - just a few months - and I admit I don't know much, but what better place to learn than here? Perhaps I'd know more about tatting if I didn't spend so much time online.... but anyways, I'm here!

Date: 2004-01-27 11:10 pm (UTC)When not working on the other star-spangled snowflake, today I've been doing a butterfly (http://www.geocities.com/birgit_ph/butterflypage.html) - mostly to finish up the pink thread I have on one shuttle. It's suprised me how many flutterbye patterns exist!

Date: 2004-01-28 02:33 am (UTC)I guess I dragged that gag along a bit too far. *g* I was referring to both "The Last of the Mohicans" and "M*A*S*H*"; there's a reason my brother often calls my rodent persona a dense little chipmunk! (But I'm a chinchilla....)
I'm about to embark into the world of split rings... maybe. I've got a couple of shuttles with varigated thread to practice on in front of me, and three different instruction pages open. *wishes self luck*
