I just joined this group - here's my obligatory "Hi, I'm here" post! I haven't been tatting for long - just a few months - and I admit I don't know much, but what better place to learn than here? Perhaps I'd know more about tatting if I didn't spend so much time online.... but anyways, I'm here!

Heh. Several of my in-laws are in the Houston area. Hubs & I have been out once to visit, but I have no idea where I was most of the time. :) May have to send the MIL or SIL to Nancy's Knits. Hey, they're always wondering what to get me for Yule, etc.!

Oooo.... She's young & has good taste in music! Now, how d'you feel about Rick Springfield?? If you like his old Working Class Dog & Living in Oz stuff, you should know that his new CD is coming out next month: s/d/a/a official site

LOL, I'm very familiar with the "no money, no time" song & dance. Personally, when given the choice between book or show, I'll usually pick the book. There's almost always more in the book.

And yes, I think butterflies, snowflakes, & crosses are probably the most popular patterns out there. :)
